Executive Board

Yousuf Ahmed is a software engineer with an education in computer science. His interests include science, technology, religion, and politics. He is the Managing Director for Traversing Tradition. You can follow him on Twitter here.

Eeman Abbasi is a graduate in Physiology & Neurobiology and Human Rights, working in international development. Her interests include Hanafi jurisprudence, refugee advocacy, health and human rights, and the food industry. She is the Editor-in-Chief for Traversing Tradition. You can follow her on Twitter here.

Heraa Hashmi is best known for her research project, Muslims Condemn. She is a graduate in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Sami Hassan is a student of political science and history. His interests include the Islamic sacred sciences, philosophy, and politics. He is a Deputy Editor for Traversing Tradition. You can follow him on Twitter here.

Wassim Hassan is a graduate in Biology and Chemistry, with additional interests in political philosophy, philosophy of religion, and the Islamic sacred sciences. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Islamic Theology and Philosophy. He is a Deputy Editor for Traversing Tradition.

Hossam Gamea is the co-founder of IMJ (Islamic Movement for Justice), an organization that is reviving political Islam within the Muslim American consciousness.
